To practice shooting a gun can be great sport it is very unique and not many people know how to shoot on target safely, there are however shooting ranges both indoor and outdoor where people can improve their target practice and learn a new skill, maybe being a marks-man may be a hidden talent one may unleash.
Indoor shooting ranges are normally privately owned and allow people with gun license in sometimes a set fee is charged or in cases of law enforcement the shooting range is used for target practice to teach law enforce how to immobilize a suspect without severely harming them.
There are two major types of shooting ranges that are commonly found:
1. Riffle range: pistol caliber carbines are shot at target and 91 meters away, rules work much like at an outdoor shooting range.
2. Handgun range: semi-automatic pistols, revolvers and sometimes submachine guns shoot targets 14 – 91 meters away in distance.
The common tie one should spend at an indoor shooting range is an hour a day maximum.
